The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program at Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business and Economics recently reported a 95-percent placement rate for 2015 graduates, within three months of graduation.

“We knew our placement rates were good, but we didn’t know how good. In fact, early data shows that the current cohort is receiving and accepting offers even earlier than last year’s class, which is indicative of a strong market for the program’s graduates,” said Dr. Julie Petherbridge, program director and assistant professor of accounting.

Mercer’s business school also offers a dual MAcc/MBA, and the most recently reported placement rate for those graduates is 94 percent.

The MAcc program is a highly-flexible evening program that enables students to finish in as little as one year if they enter the program with a business undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting. A one-year MBA can be added to the degree program to expand students’ career opportunities and advancement options.
